This leads to new and better (animal) medicines, medical aids and treatment methods. And to a better understanding of the needs of patients. Sometimes these healthcare providers, healthcare institutions and patient organizations receive compensation for their cooperation. The Healthcare Transparency Register makes these financial relationships transparent to the general public.
